Rookie of the Season candidates are Amateur class drivers who have never won a race in E4A history. A driver can not win the Amateur championship and Rookie of the Season simultaneously. If champ is a rookie then Rookie of the Season would go to the next rookie in the points.

Any awards won in this series will only be shipped to U.S. residents. Award winners who reside outside of the U.S. can choose to receive the monetary value of their award via iRacing credits or PayPal.

**Fair Competition Clause**

Drivers with a past championship (E4A/DHE/O4A/DHO) or who have ever been over 2k iR in road will be issued a Pro card. Pro drivers may run GTD Pro or the LMP2 class. Any driver is able to request a Pro card at any time. Pro card requests will be voted on by admins and issued accordingly. Drivers with a Pro card will retain it permanently(see relegation/promotion addendum below). Any driver with 5 Championships on the road side of the league(E4A/DHE/O4A/DHO) will have established themselves as being above and beyond the skill set of this league. We wish them the best but simply don't have more competitive racing to offer them. Those drivers will be issued a Legend card and may still race. They will not be counted for wins/points/stats and will be the first cut from a server if race caps are met. Legends continue to race here for fun or instructional purposes only (if they wish to do so).

Relegation/Promotion Addendum - In an effort to maintain class integrity as well as balance class participation numbers, the admins will take a close look at full time drivers during the off-season. One or more drivers may be relegated or promoted based on their on-track performance and a classes attendance needs.

**Server Caps**

This series will have a 45 driver cap for races. If the cap is exceeded in practice/qual, the following will determine who is cut. [Race #1 will be determined by prior season points. Top 15 in each class are locked in for race 1]

1) Top 13 drivers in points from each of the classes will be locked in. (LMP2/GTD Pro/GTD Am)

2) Final 6 spots filled by fastest qualifying time based on class size to keep classes as equal as possible

Race/Comms Etiquette:

Firstly, all iRacing rules/guidelines will apply unless otherwise stated. If it applies to an iRacing official series then it applies here. Black Flags will not be cleared for anything...period. https://www.iracing.com/iracing-official-sporting-code/

If you are involved in an off track situation, pay attention to your relative screen and only merge when it is safe to do so. In general just have some damn courtesy. We are here to foster a fun learning environment. No one here is an actual pro. Mistakes will be made. Crashes will happen. Unless you think it was intentional we encourage you to shrug it off and move on. Retaliation will not fly here. It will earn you a very quick ban from the league. Bashing other drivers, or even their friends/family, will also not be tolerated. We encourage our drivers to take the high road and not create any enemies/drama within the league. It is strongly suggested that if you make contact with someone you should voice an apology in some way.

Starts:

It is every drivers responsibility to assess where they are at on the track when the green flag flies (i.e. chicane/corner) and conduct a safe start. Single file rolling starts will be utilized. Once cars begin rolling on the parade lap everyone will manually get in to the correct single file order. No passing will be allowed on the starts until after Turn 1 (or further if specified in the drivers brief.) With 35+ cars in a single file order things get pretty stretched out and backed up so check-ups will happen. You can't pass immediately anyways so have some patience and pay attention.

LMP2 - Rolling single file starts. LMP2 cars will be lined up as 1 group based on qualifying times. Everyone will "go" on the green flag.

GTD Pro/GTD - Rolling single file starts. GTD cars will be lined up as 1 group based on qualifying times(not split by class). Pole sitter will leave a 3 second gap to the rear of the LMP2 class. Everyone will "go" on the green flag.

Penalties - The parade lap as well as lap 1 will be reviewed after every race. Any driver who is deemed responsible for contact with another driver, that is significant enough to cause damage or incident points, will start from the tail of the field in their next race. EOL recipients from the LMP2 class will only have to drop to the end of the LMP2 class.

Race Protests:

Procedure - This is billed as an Amateur's league. None of us are actual pros (despite having a GTD Pro class here), none of us are racing for thousands of dollars, none of us are or will be perfect. If you wish to file a protest against a driver, wait 12 hours and then consider it. If you think a valid protest is in order, then you need to give details of what happened and what lap/time stamp. If you're not going to take the time to figure out when something happened, we won't do it for you. You may file a protest against another driver for a few reasons, as follows:

1 - Driver violates any/all race start procedures

2 - Driver maliciously/purposely/intentionally wrecks you

3 - Driver uses voice comms/text comms to bash/harass/threaten someone in a reason deemed to be way out of line from the general public

4 - Driver violates the iRacing sporting code

5 - Driver causes you damage or inc points due to a bad star/bad rejoin/not holding the brakes in a crash/reckless driving

To file a protest, utilize the contact/protest form on the website with a minimum of a description of what and when it happened(lap/time/corner). It may take a couple days for review but we will get back to you.

Penalty System:

1 - A driver who is found to be successfully protested against will receive a warning on how/what they should correct

2 - If a driver is successfully protested a 2nd time in the same season, they will be docked 3 points in the race that the complaint occurred.

3 - If a driver is successfully protested 3 times in a season they will be docked 6 points in the race where the most recent incident happened.

4 - A driver who is successfully protested 4 times in a season will be suspended for 1 race.

5 - A driver who is successfully protested 5 times in 1 season will be parked for the remainder of the season.

[successfully protested means the admins received a protest, we found it to be a complaint worthy of filing a protest, and we found the accused party at fault (beyond a reasonable doubt) based on any/all evidence received]

***Asshole Clause***

If a driver goes rogue and loses their shit in a race, i.e. driving backwards/wrecking people, or even flipping out on voice comms, an admin can/will throw a full course caution so that they can remove that person from the race server and Discord.

All rules and regulations are subject to interpretation by the admins.

We also reserve the right to update the rulebook at any time.
